With a contagious enthusiasm and infectious energy, Saskia Gense is a highly regarded Organizational Psychologist, professional facilitator, and executive coach. Known for her ability to get straight to the point whilst maintaining warmth and insight, Saskia has a smart, fun, and forward-thinking approach to her work. Over the past 20+ years, she has designed and delivered numerous impactful programs, workshops, and coaching engagements focused on leadership, management, and professional development.
Originally from the Netherlands, Saskia, driven by her passion for facilitating growth and working with groups, made a life-changing decision in 2000 to bid the Netherlands farewell and relocate to Asia and pursue her true calling as a facilitator. She has been based in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, collaborating with international companies across the Asia-Pacific region to optimize team performance, enhance personal effectiveness, and foster cultural and personality diversity. In 2012 Saskia founded AOP together with Ardine Verhoog in Hong Kong. Now Saskia is back in the Netherlands, enjoying the beauty of Europe and is still developing a wide variety of leaders and teams for AOP.
Saskia loves to see people grow, shed of habits that don’t work anymore and develop their full potential. Due to her experience and continuous learning, Saskia has developed a varied scala of meaningful workshops, including leadership development, conflict management, dealing with adversities, diversity and inclusion and (hybrid) team development. She takes pride in crafting tailor-made solutions that make a difference for the participant and the organisation.
Saskia is the proud mother of three children, all young adults now. Her youngest son has Down’s syndrome which gave her, besides a ton of love, wonderful insights into diverse learning and development.
